Event Management

Organisations arrange events for many different reasons. Maybe to promote what they do, maybe as a thank you to staff, maybe to promote community activity.  But they also want value for money and cost control.

Four Monkeys Media founder David has over 10 years experience of organising events adn his skills cover Risk Assessments, Crowd Control, Media Management, Acting as host/MC, arranging PA/lighting, booking entertainers (Bands, children's rides, DJ's etc) and Artiste/VIP Hospitality & Liaison.  He has worked with bands, entertainers and performers from stage and screen around the UK and will only recommend professional artistes who he knows will carry out a professional job.

David managed the first and, as it transpired, only independent Northern Ireland appearances of Children's TV favourites PC Plum and Miss Hoolie from the BBC show Balamory.  Each event attracted thousands of children and parents to Donaghadee.

He has also been prolific in organising Ulster-Scots events from live TV links spanning the Irish Sea to parallel events in Donaghadee and Portpatrick, and masterminded the historic event which saw Donaghadee Lighthouse opened to the public for the first time is its 170 years history and saw 3000 visitors and uk-wide media coverage.

He was also instrumental in the organisation of 'Donaghadee Summer Festival' for 8 years  - the finale of which attracted around 15,000 visitors.
